Visakhapatnam (Vizag), also known as The City of Destiny, Port City, and The Jewel of the East Coast, is located in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. It is the largest city in Andhra Pradesh by both population and area, and also the most industrialized. Vizag is one of the fastest-growing smart cities in India. In 2025, it ranked 4th among the cleanest cities in the country. It also ranked 10th among India’s richest cities, with a GDP of $43.5 billion USD, which is approximately ₹3,765,360 CR.
