Giri Pradakshina is held annually on Ashada Pournami. This year, the Simhachalam Giri Pradakshina is July 2, 2023. The Simhachalam temple Giri Pradakshina is a 32-kilometer walk around the Simhachalam hills and Kailash Giri hills. The route starts at the Simhachalam temple and circles around the hill in a clockwise direction. The pradakshina will cover a distance of approximately 34 kilometers.

The Simhachalam Devasthanam has arranged for the Giri Pradakshina. The entire Pradakshina route will be crowded with lakhs and thousands of devotees. There will be medical camps and drinking water facilities available along the way.
The Devasthanam has also requested that devotees carry their own food and water, as there may be long queues at the stalls along the route. The Simhachalam Devasthanam has also made arrangements for parking and other facilities for the convenience of devotees.
