Simhachalam Giri Pradakshina is an annual event held on Ashada Pournami. This year, the Giri Pradakshina will take place on 21 July, 2024. Devotees walk a 32-kilometer route around the Simhachalam hills and Kailash Giri hills.
The journey begins at the Simhachalam temple and follows a clockwise path around the hill. The entire pradakshina covers a distance of approximately 34 kilometres.

During the Simhachalam Giri Pradakshina festival, devotees walk a 32-km route along the Simhachalam Hill, covering BRTS Road, Mudasarlova, Hanumanthuwaka, Kailash Giri, Tenneti Park, Lumbini Park, MVP Colony, Venkojipalem, HB Colony, Seethammadhara, Madhavadhara, NAD Junction, and Gopalapatnam.
The Simhachalam Devasthanam organizes the Giri Pradakshina, and the entire route is crowded with lakhs and thousands of devotees. Along the way, there are medical camps and drinking water facilities available.
The Devasthanam requests that devotees carry their own food and water, as there may be long queues at the stalls along the route. Additionally, the Simhachalam Devasthanam has made arrangements for parking and other facilities to enhance the convenience of devotees.
