ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025: Vizag’s Match Dates in October
Visakhapatnam (Vizag) will host five 2025 ICC Women’s ODI World Cup cricket matches in October at the ACA–VDCA Cricket Stadium. All matches start at 3:00 PM IST. Here’s the schedule:
- October 9 – India vs South Africa
- October 10 – New Zealand vs Bangladesh
- October 12 – India vs Australia
- October 13 – South Africa vs Bangladesh
- October 16 – Australia vs Bangladesh
Hosting the Women’s ODI World Cup matches is a huge milestone for Vizag. Local cricket fans in Vizag are thrilled. People from the city and nearby towns are excited to watch the matches live.

2025 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup – Tournament Overview
India is co-hosting the tournament alongside Sri Lanka, with matches spread across five cities: Bengaluru, Indore, Guwahati, Visakhapatnam, and Colombo. The opening match between India and Sri Lanka will take place on September 30 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, and the final is scheduled for November 2, also in Bengaluru — unless Pakistan qualifies, in which case it will be held in Colombo.

Format: Eight teams will compete in a round-robin format, followed by two semi-finals and a final — totalling 31 matches.
