Patanjali’s ₹500 Cr Food and Herbal Park Project Coming to Kothavalasa
Patanjali Group (Patanjali Ayurved Limited) has decided to restart its large-scale food and herbal park project in Chinnaraopalli village, located in Kothavalasa mandal of Vizianagaram district, near Visakhapatnam (Vizag) borders. The project was earlier halted but is now being revived with full support from the state government.
The Andhra Pradesh state government has allocated 172.84 acres of land to Patanjali Ayurved Limited in Chinnaraopalli village.
Patanjali Ayurved Limited will invest over ₹500 crore to establish a juice extraction unit with a capacity of 1,500 metric tonnes per day, along with facilities such as cold storage, ripening chambers, and dry grinding units.
The aim of this project is to improve the income of farmers by creating a stable market for their produce and to promote the use of natural and herbal ingredients in food products.
Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna from Patanjali have personally inspected the site and announced their continued commitment to support local farmers and landowners affected by the earlier delay.
