Telangana Gaddar Film Awards 2025 Winners are Announced; Awards Ceremony to Take Place on March 19 (Telugu New Year, Ugadi) in Hyderabad
The Telangana Gaddar Film Awards 2025 were officially announced in Hyderabad on March 7, 2026. The prestigious award ceremony is scheduled to take place on Telugu New Year (Ugadi), March 19, in Hyderabad.
The Best Film award was announced for Raju Weds Rambai. Dandora was chosen as the second-best film, while The Great Pre-Wedding Show secured third place. In acting categories, Naga Chaitanya won Best Actor for his role in Thandel, and Rashmika Mandanna won Best Actress for The Girlfriend.
Thandel also received the Special National Integrity Film Award for promoting unity and cultural values through cinema.
The Legendary Honour Awards were announced for senior film personalities. Chiranjeevi received the NTR Award, Jayasudha was honored with the ANR Award, Kamal Haasan received the Paidi Jayaraj Award, R. Narayana Murthy was recognized with the Kantharao Award, Singeetam Srinivasa Rao received the B.N. Reddy Award, and Suddaala Ashok Teja was given the C. Narayana Reddy Award.
These Telangana Gaddar Film Awards are named after Gaddar, the famous poet and singer who stood for people’s rights. Today, they are regarded as the leading film awards of Telangana, honoring both popular stars and veteran artists. Organizers emphasized that the awards were announced based on merit, not just popularity, making them highly respected in the film industry.
